Truth about Babyn Yar.

Hundreds thousand of Ukrainians were killed here – the victims of the famishments and terror of ChK-NKVD. The fabrication about Babyn Yar which is widespread now was made by the communist propaganda to conceal this crime. And in 1941 here took place “the greatest tragedy from all the history of Jewry”: “Germans drove together thousands of Jews to the part of orthodox cemetery, which wasn’t used at that time, commanded to strip to the skin to those, who didn’t want to give jewellery away of their own accord. In that dreadful place all the gold was ripped up from their clothes and jewellery taken away from wallets. After that they were driven from Kyiv”.

 

They make their business even on bones…

 

Throughout half of the century Babyn Yar fell into sad repute as “the greatest tragedy from all the history of Jewry”. Everywhere it was considered as an indisputable truth. Today it looks like faith in it was shaken in Ukraine as well as in the entire world.

It looks strange that the “red pathfinders” of the Soviet age, who examined almost every corner of Ukrainian land, so thoroughly passed over Babyn Yar, where hundreds thousands of Ukrainians were killed – the victims of the famishments and terror of NKVD. For the known reason this was carefully secreted and concealed.

However, it didn’t succeed to conceal the truth about the dreadful history of Babyn Yar forever. Recently Ukrainian and American researches revealed the secrets of Babyn Yar. These are not just testimonies of “eyewitnesses” and “those who survived”. These are the data of thorough analysis of aerophotographs and documents in the archives of Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Berlin, Warsaw, London, Washington, New York, San Francisco and other cities.

This material is about what happened in Babyn Yar in reality. Nowadays hardly everyone thinks that the story of “massacre” of Jews in Babyn Yar began in September-October 1941. But in fact NKVD began this story after in summer 1943 Germans dug up graves of 10 thousand victims of NKVD in Vinnytsia, and finished after the liberation of Kyiv at the end of 1943. The Soviet colonel-prosecutor Jew O. Smirnov brought an action of Babyn Yar on the Nuremberg lawsuit. However, his arguments were so unconvincing, that the judges – mainly American Jews, in particular Murrie Bernis and David Marcus, considered the affair of Babyn Yar as less important, and the western press didn’t observe it at all. But now everything is seen in a different way. Babyn Yar is endeavored to become a place of hardly not the greatest tragedy of Jews. Let’s retrace, why it happened so and separate reality from myth.

Lviv, the Crimea and Odesa went in advance by the number of victims during the Nuremberg lawsuit. And how otherwise? At that time not Babyn Yar with its 100 thousand victims was “the greatest slaughter in all the history of humanity”, but Lviv with its 660 victims (according to the statement of ChK from 23.ХІІ.1944), Crimea (it is said, that fascists drowned in the sea 200 thousand Jews) and Odesa (there, allegedly, the Nazi burnt up 200 thousand Jewish people alive). Furthermore, allegedly, in war Kharkiv the occupants tortured to the death, shot to death or killed in mobile gas chambers 195 thousand Jews and Slavuta had to be the place of execution for 150 thousand “Soviet citizens” (all this we take from the judgment statement – volume I from 48-volume collection of the Nuremberg lawsuit’s materials from 14.ХІ.45 till 1.Х.46, that was published in 1947). Nowadays this postwar Soviet “statistics”, except of Babyn Yar, are almost not mentioned. All this fabricated numbers would be veritable, if at least the last two zeros in them were crossed out.
